IMM’s management team possesses a two-faceted goal: To protect the investments of our building owners and secure a reasonable return for their investment, while providing courteous service and comfortable accommodations to our residents, at a reasonable price. This objective is achieved through the division of managerial responsibilities divided among several administrative associates:

Jay Altringer, CPM Chief Operating Officer Mr. Altringer has more than 40 years of experience in the property management industry. Not only does Mr. Altringer direct IMM’s corporate goals, strategies, and business functions, he is instrumental in new multifamily property development, building, and sales in several communities we serve. Mr. Altringer was bestowed the title of Certified Property Manager (CPM) by the Institute of Real Estate Management, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors, for his demonstration of professionalism in the property management field. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management from Minot State University, North Dakota real estate sales license, and a Graduate Realtors Institute Certificate.
Danny Hanson President Danny came to IMM after serving on the management team of the Minot Hockey Boosters Corporation. His management career began during his Business Management Studies at Lake Superior State University. In his role as President, Danny is responsible for strategic acquisition and implementation of new business ventures, and maintaining customer relations. Accordingly, he serves as a project manager and direct contact for our investor clients. Additionally, Danny is a licensed real estate broker in North Dakota, managing our commercial portfolio.
Dennis Dion Corporate Secretary & Treasurer Dennis oversees the corporate financial activities and payroll functions for the company, as well as the Human Resource Department. Dennis also manages IMM’s commercial property portfolio and smaller residential portfolios. Mr. Dion is the designated real estate broker for IMM, and supervises the Real Estate Brokerage Department. He possesses a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Minot State University.
Dan Holwegner, CPM, CAM Vice President of Operations As Vice President of Operations, Dan oversees projects and communications between property owners and IMM’s internal management team. Additionally, he manages several central and western North Dakota properties. Dan came to IMM as a retired Air Force officer, with a Master’s of Science Degree from California State University and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Minot State University. Additionally, he is licensed in North Dakota as a real estate professional, a Certified Property Manager (CPM) by the Institute of Real Estate Management, and a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) by the National Apartment Association.
Doug Pfau Minot Property Supervisor Formerly the Property Supervisor for both IMM’s Montana portfolio and Grand Forks office and Doug brings a wealth of expertise in the management field, having served as a manager in retail administration and sales. As property supervisor for the Minot market, Doug oversees more than 2,400 rental units. He possesses a Bachelors of Science degree from Jamestown College and also holds the position of President for the Magic City Apartment Association.
Schan Altringer Central ND Property Supervisor. Schan has been with the company since 2006. In his current role, he utilizes acquired knowledge from his Business Management education from Bismarck State College, and his years of experience in property management to administer properties in the following North Dakota cities: Bismarck, Carrington, Fargo, Jamestown, Parshall and Stanley.
Jill Wald Controller For more than 10 years, Jill has coordinated and managed all accounting functions for IMM’s management portfolio. She holds a dual Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Business Management & Computer Science from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Jill is also responsible for the redesign of our corporate website.
Marla Gefroh Office Manager Marla came to IMM more than 24 years ago with accounting education from Minot State University. As office manager, Marla is responsible for the organization and supervision of administrative activities to facilitate continuous productivity. Additionally, she assists in achieving objectives through budget preparation and coordinating accounting activities.

She received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing from Colorado State University.
